Despite the hairdresser image attached to these it's a lovely looking car and I bet it will be great to drive.
Just got to hope it comes with a 2l turbo engine

Looks quite good in the photos. It weighs around 1150kg, still too much IMO. It has electric pas. Ugh. Engine has 14:1 cr and low co2. No power figures yet. A lot harder to de-hairdresser than earlier ones. Don't think I'll be upgrading from my analogue mk1, not that I could afford to anyway...

Bloody hell, that looks lovely! Sort of F type rear 3/4 and profile with a nice front end too.
I bet that'll be a hoot to drive - electric PAS is sadly a necessary "evil" of modern cars but the better systems are usually fairly direct and you do get used to them. Bad ones are horrific.

Amazing cars these MX5's ..... had a mint MK1 until last October when I sold it and bought a MK3.5 Kendo SE and I absolutely love it - utterly, utterly, fantastic cars.
And this, at £20k, is going to take the world by storm ...... the hairdresser jibes are now just spouted by half-wits and those troubled by their lack of manhood.

I really like that new design! If it drives as good as it looks and has a bit more ooomph over the previous incarnations then Mazda will be onto a winner!
Look forward to the reviews

Must agree though, any real car enthusiast will know all about the Nixer, what it's about and how true it's stayed to it's remit.
It's the base for the new Alfa too.

Thought Alfa Romeo and Mazda were going to do a joint venture but Alfa version might be shelved.|Even more stunning!

Wish Alfa would make their minds up.
Now talking about doing it on their own in house and calling it a Spider Abarth....as a Fiat
They would have sold shed loads as an Alfa
