Looks like a Scooby hatchback.
About time Nissan start bringing in normal cars again rather than all that SUV/cross-over rubbish (ignoring the GTR and Micra).
The problem will be the bits made by Renault...I'm guessing this car is related to the Megane....much like the Micra is to the Clio.

I had a Nissan pulsar GTiR at 330BHP and my god was it rapid! So quick off the line and I used to love the way it would squat it's **** down when launching hard!
Shame I couldn't afford a decent gearbox to take it further.
New one sounds like it will be a bit soft like the RX8 compared to the rX7.....shame!

Much like the Honda 3.0 NSX engine was unit derived from the old Rover 827/Honda Accord lump, just with different heads. Later 3.2 block was a bit more fancy though.
But yeah, you'll find Renault (mostly diesels) in various Nissans and vice-versa. Its mind boggling what lumps I find under the bonnet of various cars...I recently lifted the bonnet on a Mitsubushi, to find a very familiar VW diesel engine hiding under the plastic cover, I lift the bonnet on another Mitsi to find a Mercesdes lump. I find a Peugeot lump in a Mazda (when Mazda make their own diesels ), and I find a Volvo lump in a Ford, a Peugeot lump in a Volvo, a Mazda lump in another Ford and a Fiat lump in another Ford. As well as a Fiat lump in one Vauxhall a Isuzu lump in another, then find the same lump in a Honda. Madness!
