Default Citroen Picasso

Afternoon,

We've got an 09 plate C4 Citroen Grand Picasso and it's having some issues.

Basically it sometimes takes a while to start, starting and cutting out. Lots of different error messages, the most relevant I think is the pollen system error.

Anyway, once it's started it runs fine, so I'm thinking something ECU, senorish ?

Local garage charge me £36 and said yep there's an issue, take it to Citroen.

Any ideas?

Hi

Depending what engine u have these have a common fault with the coolant temps sensor failing -the sensor fails and allows water to leak through the guts of the sensor and then it tracks down and corrodes the pins on the PSF1 unit (engine fuse box) - if it is this and you get it caught quickly enough the pins can be claened and just a new senor requires.

hope this helps

I was going to say drain the coolant out connectors As the 1.4 and 1.6petrols Pugs have filled up the one connector with water before now But not knowing what engine he has it would be a bit flippant to say it

The diesels don't do this.
