For all those attending the NBO on June 27th 2010 please be aware there is no longer an exit off the A1 Southbound for LWV . You have to go down to the Ripon A61 junction and come back up from Ripon. There is however a slip road to join the A1 Northbound (after a new roundabout) for the return journey. HOWEVER due to the dualling of the A1 and making it the A1M there are SPECS cameras and a STRICT 50MPH in force from around Catterick down to Dishforth (where it is already three lane motorway) thats 20+ miles of pain . So you may wish to get the maps out and access LWV from Masham or alternative routes. The convoy down from Scotch Corner needs to plan for extra time. There is also no fuel on the A1 southbound but the Shell station just South of Scotch corner on the A1 Northbound is still there.
