NBO 7 - Charity Announcement (Help needed)
Just a quick note to inform you all that this years NBO Charity is Sue Ryder Care (Sue Ryder Care).
Sue Ryder Care supports people with specialist palliative, end of life and long-term neurological care needs.
Each year they provide 4 million hours of care to people living with cancer, multiple sclerosis, Huntington's disease, Parkinson's disease, motor neurone disease, stroke and brain injury.
Last year I personally delivered the NBO cash to one of their branches, and seeing some of the people in their care reminded me just how lucky everyone I saw walking around the NBO is, especially when I stopped to talk to a 30 year old male who had had a performance car crash and was paralised from the neck down.
I just hope that anybody who's reading this never needs Sue Ryders help, but it’s nice to know they are there if the worse was ever to happen.
As per previous years EVERY penny you give will be matched pound for pound by the company I work for - BAE Systems (www.baesystems.com) so please give generously.
Now to where you can help !
This years event is struggling with raffle prizes, so, if you have anything you could spare that maybe suitable for the raffle could you please fetch it along, no matter how small or trivial you may think it is – Many Thanks in Advance
Chris

To get the ball rolling with the raffle prizes I'll offer something that money just can't buy !
I'll arrange a guided tour of the worlds most advanced Aircraft production line for the winner and 3 guests (subject to passing a Security vetting process).
This will be a guided tour of BAE Systems Typhoon final assembly production line at Warton, Lancashire and will hopefully (if we can get the timings correct) let you see some flight testing so you can see the Typhoon in action.
Chris.
P.S. Obviously if your not into Aircraft you can pick another prize

Think we have a couple of other things so will donate them to the main raffle to raise more money, dont think it will go against us in any way if we dont hold a raffle ...

Imy and Grant from McRae Vision have kindly offered to donate some prizes for the Raffle and we also have some Fast & Furious T-Shirts and Merchandise direct from Hollywood that is not available in the UK as raffle prizes that should raise a bit of interest
