I put my Fiesta through a wall

Having split from the breadknife I went out for a thrash in the car, bad idea no1. I set off to rerun one of the Dales runs, given the weather, bad idea no2. Didn't have full concentration cos I was upset over her but carried on through the rain and puddles anyway, bad idea no3.

Basically I came into a tight right hander too fast, in the wrong gear, unprepared, skated over the top of a large puddle, got terminal understeer, locked up and carrered through the wall!

I'm absolutely fine, no problem at all, I was so lucky! The car however needs, a bonnet, 2x wings, a bumper, 2x h / lamps, 2 x indidcators, 2x fog lamps.........

Never mind tho eh, it could of been a lot worse!

At the moment it looks like I won't be able to attend Well lane and Mellow's run, well the car probably won't anyway! I'll keep you all posted!

joking aside your lucky mate, shame about the festa! its kinda legend really, the nly festa to mix it with the soobs on many a run and the odd trackday.
will it repair?
maybe you can get a lift to well lane to watch.

Just a thought, what about gettin' closer to a scoob?, you know, front bumper, wings, bonnet etc and retain the legendary wheel liftin' rear?

Sorry to hear of your off. As long as you are OK, thats the main thing, cars can be fixed, humans sometimes can't.

Sorry to hear about the loss mate - at least it wasn't you in need of new wings etc. Any damages - just pride mainly I guess???

I know the feeling of "at least your alright" I've heard it all this week as well. My P1 went bye bye on Saturday night - woman drove in front of me and it's pretty much a mess (well wasted, said the guy at the towing garage). Haven't posted, cos I'm still in a big sulk about it. Might go to Well Lane with my mate though, giz a shout if your going and we'll meet up and compate cuts and bruises

sorry tohear about car and woman but both can be replaced a woman easier than a good car i was the one who couldnt keep up with you at the lakes run in the green wagon !!go out tonight get drunk and pull a bird TONIGHT! the money you save will pay for the repairs on the car by not having a permanent bird to keep better seperate when your young and single then divorce {my divorce 5th biggest in carlisle!!!}good luck mate

Well, the legend lives on! I put some new lights in today and gaffed up the bumper, it will make an appearance at Well Lane but won't be going on the rollers, it has a water leak, I really can do without it blowing up now plus the £20 can be put to better use now!

It looks a mess at the mo, needs 2 wings, a bumper and bonnet plus a few minor repairs, ah well, you live and learn!

At least it wasn't a P1 tho, mate, I feel for ya! I guess I'm lucky not to have gone through a divorce too!

I was up in Settle at the weekend ~ the roads were a nightmare. LOTS and LOTS of water around. Nearly put the other 1/2's Golf through a wall just outside Malham on Sunday whilst ragging it over the fells She'd have killed me !!

Thankfully got away with lots of **** up the sides as I bounced across the fell and missed the wall.
