OK, posted in Wheels section, but I'm looking for somewhere local, so I thought I'D post it on here as well

Got standard silver 17" wheels on mine but think the Mica Red WRX would look better with Anthracite colour.

Can't afford new wheels so does anyone know if existing wheels can be recoloured, where and for how much.

North West area would be preferable.

Unless some one has some clean undamaged 17" or 18" they'd like to swap

I have a mate with a power coating business. He re-does his own wheels every few months and they look perfect - you can choose from 1000's of colours/shades as well

Give me a shout if you want his number etc

 

i know someone near wakefield who refurbs for dealers, he does an excellent job from the ones i've seen, i think £30ish per wheel.
i had some done cheaper last year £25pw and for a month they looked mint (bbs split rim type), after that the laquer bubbled and peeled off bringing the paint with it, don't go for a cheap deal - it probably isn't worth it in the end

There is a wheel place just over the road from Scoobymania who do refurbs on wheels etc, they look pretty decent but havnt got a number for them

There's a place nr. York called Alloy Wheel Repairs (says it all really!) 01904 703863. Never used them so can't comment on service, but seems like the type of place you want.
