Default Squeaking?

Anyone shed some light?

had cambelt service by ScoobyClinic and everything runs beautiful but there is a squeaking coming from the belts at idle?
No noise when revs are added....just at idle?????

is it bad or just cos its new?

I don't really wanna take it back anytime soon!

hi. it could just be the belts bedding in but could also be an idler on its way out. either way its best to get it checked out. if its an idler, it'll need replacing and they cost around £25 each. if its the belt then its best to check it hasnt run slack and/or skipped a tooth on the cam pulleys. the self adjusting tensioner shouldnt let that happen but its always best to check these things. the last thing you want is bent valves and an engine rebuild to pay for.

The squeaking disappears after about 10/15 minutes of running(just driving grandad style....to work)
