Well the year is coming to an end and i just wanted to know what your highlight of the year has been?
Mine was going on my first run over to the evo triangle in the summer and finding out just how good the scooby is on the twisty,s . I think i suprised a few of you that day with how good a wagon is, i know i suprised myself.

Highlight of the year? The whole year, and how the club has grown from me about to give up with it all, to what its become today. Big thanks from me to you lot for making this happen
Event highlight? Isle of Man has to be number 1, and getting this shot on the harbour wall:
Then closely followed by the NBO, and realising what a tight knit group of mates we really all are:
Finally, but by no means least, as all the stuff I've done this year with you lot has been fun, eventually sometimes , my return to Nurburgring:
Here's to 2007, and more of the same
Great idea for a thread btw ste

There is a lot more i could add to this myself but i,ll stick with my original one of the evo triangle. Just loved the trip out especially following john up to the viaduct bridge, it was brilliant realising what my car was capable of, well my brakes weren,t capable of much afterwards as they gave up after that. Thanks for a great years motoring SMACS and next year will only be bigger

Lordys yearly review 2006
For me the NBO 4and the whole planning and preparation of it with the committee
and then on the NBO day an empty field and it filling up with hundreds of scoobys
cant wait untill the 17th june for the NBO5 and the planning has started allready for it .
ive had some great meetings at the Cumbrian scoobs as well winning the top club display at the RS car show and club stand winners at the Cumbrian car classic shows
thanks to Jason our Club stand manager for his dedication in getting the CS trophey cabinet full.
also another fantastic year with the TTS boys great bunch of lads with excellent meets and their enthuasism in helping with the NBO
thanks to Martin for putting up with my crazy <visions> and as always the TTS xmas party and the entertainment with my new member of the committee
Mark ,commander in chief of the Terzo division who i will never forget to the day I die with his awesom terzo division stand at the NBO who has raised the standard of utter madness and dedication to the scooby world ,this has raised the whole profile and Im sure will raise the generall standard of displays at the NBO
another highlight for me was leading the team of judges for the stand of the day at the NBO
only CW and the SMACS could come up with a colour co-ordinaed convoy to the NBO and a wifes and children section on their award winning stand and cars parked in colours to match along with a full historic tour of thier stand !!!
fantastic effort by the Smacs !!
and for the wagon stand and the legendary No kruds barred with his paddles to assist the parking and the wagon salute led by the king of all madness :smiles: . fantastic display and overall winner for the day for the stand competion .
God knows what the 3 stand winners will come up with next year but I cant wait to see it .
Excellent charity collection as well with over 3k rasied again this year.
So another great year involved in the Scooby community

My highlight of the year was the Prodrive tour, followed by the Richard Burns Memorial Rally.
The visit to prodrive was really good, and very interesting (so big thanks again to Andy for sorting that out).
The RB rally was a great turn out from all the clubs in the country, and it was testament to the organisation that so much money was raised for cancer research. Being stood at a service station on the M6 listening to a speech with hundreds of scoobies taking over the place was something else and as a tribute to RB it was spot on.
Looking forward to 2007!

Highlights:
For me it was my holiday abroad on a big boat seeing lots of sunny places.
I was also made up that Southport survived the Conference National as a part time club.
Quitting my crap job without another job to go to was a brave move but to get a better job as a result was a fantastic bonus.
Getting Hungry Hippos for xmas was excellent also.
And getting engaged a few days ago was a good move...
My friend pooing his pants recently was excellent comedy.
Walking in the mountains of Wester Ross in March was cool.
Seeing New Order live at Wembley was fandabeedozee!
Watching Saints win the grand final at OT - well done lads!
Lowlights:
Chelsea winning the league
Parents dog passing away
Fiancees nan passing away
No songs in the charts by Chaka Deamus or Pliers
Working for EDS for 7 months
Getting a cold on xmas morning
Burning my finger on an oven tray
Getting a puncture on my bike in July
Eating dark chocolate
Seeing the latest valuation of my Subaru
Losing in my first game of Hungry Hippos
Standing in dog poo and then putting my foot on the mat of my car
Not having enough BBQ's in the summer.
Wasps
