SMACS - Treasure Hunt 23rd July
On the Sunday 23rd July there will be a SMACS treasure hunt around the Cheshire, Derbyshire, Staffordshire and Stockportshire areas.
The day will start at the Unicorn, around 10:00 with the treasure hunt starting at 10:30 and taking approximately 3 hours, however this time is flexible but we'd like to finish around lunch time at the Unicorn so I can tot up the results and work out the winner.
Points will be awarded for the number of places visited, plus additional items listed on the day. The winner is the one with the highest number of points not the fastest time. You will need a Digi Camera for the day as we'd like you to take pictures of each checkpoint you visit, bonus points will be awarded for artisitic merit, unless your name is warren
I have picked some really nice places to go and find, on some really good roads, so it will be a good drive out.
All those interested please stick your name down below.

I'm mikes helper for this event, so I won't be running, but hopefully the Mrs will do me proud. Lets hope Jason (orgasmic cry) doesn't enter, as he and his missus are demons at this sort of thing

Agree mike, this should be a 2 person per car event. A good oppurtunity to for having a major falling out with your partner Works for me everytime, you should have heard me and Joh on the IOM treasure hunt

Everyone, mike showed me the route for this tonight on his laptop, and it's looking awesome, definatly wish I was doing it on the day, but I'm being a marshal and judge for the day

Chris and I drove the route last night and there are some pretty nice roads along the route so there should be something for everybody.
We've thrown out a few of the places we've visited as they where to hard to find and we got lost, so we felt if we got lost and we had the locations what chance does anyone else stand!
Looks like its going to be a good one with locations from near Stockport into Derbyshire and back across to west cheshire.
Looks like a good one, and we promise after last nights drive not to make it too difficult

Yep, agree with Mike, the route is excellent, and you'll all have a great time trying to work out first of all what the clues are, then actually finding the places and taking a picture

Would have liked to join in the fun. A great idea for a good day out - and taking photos en route too But unfortunately that day I'm collecting my mum from oop north in Geordie-land and driving her home.
