Default UPDATE.....

Hi all.
There have been some developments over the past week, firstly i have now sold my pink scooby to a nice MAN from Wrexham. Yes its been bought by a guy, who intends to proudly show it off! Each to their own
Now the important bit, I will not go into details on here about the whys and what fors, but the white sti is no longer happening. After this decision was forcably made, i decided to opt for a more sensible option for a while. I am now the very proud owner of a red Citroen C2 VTR ministry of sound edition. It wont be forever, but for the forseeable future anyways. And besides, I actually like it!!
I hope I will still be welcome at the meets as I will tag along with John, as long as he sorts that bladdy suspension out

jak

I know, I never thought there would be a man brave enough to admit ownership of the pink princess but he adores it!!! I gave him 2 days to get a good deposit to me and he was back within the hour!

I dont know when i will get back in my own scoob, but hopefully not too long.

Porkies??? me??? You must have me mixed up with someone else
I sold it privately anyways.

I'm not looking for another scoob yet, I'm going to enjoy the 45 to the gallon, cheap tax and insurance for a bit. Paddle gears are going to take a bit of getting used to though

Paddle gears are easy you never have to take your hands off the wheel have driven a friend's Audi A4 that had paddle shift good fun not always the quickest chance in the world that's the only problem.
Hope to see you in a real car soon, glad you have been able to move the pink one on after all the Mather you had before.

You know your more than welcome as far as im concerned. Not sure about the other misserable buggers on here though

Suspension is getting sorted tuesday so its all good. Should be something similar to what the C2 is like now im hoping. If not then the standard stuff is going back on.

A world apart from the scoob, It feels 'new'. I dont get the urge to stick my foot down every chance I get I though it would be weird having no clutch, but its a joy to drive and the sound system is out of this world! Its a ministry of sound edition so has a top spec sound system in...snice to hear the music!! I do miss the burble though

Yeah after seeing it in the flesh with the wheels on its does look smart the pic just doesnt do it justice. Thought you would have got more of the vectra in the shot lol

I might be biased but im liking the sunstrip a bit more than the wheels lol.

Your still coming to the meets with us, end of story

Jokes aside, its a really nice smart little motor and it does suit you too. Shifts a bit, handles well, cheap to run etc etc but the main thing is you like it and your happy with it

Should i try sort out the suprise for the next meet ??????
