SMACS to the WYIOC meet thurs 30th March
The week before we do our own meet at the Unicorn, the WYIOC have thier meet at the end of this month. It's always a good turnout there, and the venue at the foxglove is excellent. Both myself and supertouring have been over in the past, and it is a nice drive, as long as you don't get lost over the tops. (my sat-nav took me a really long winded way last month ) It's worth it for the blast up Holme Moss if nothing else, see the film in the video section of our site for that
Who's up for it then, we'll meet at 6:45pm at the same place as last sundays meet. The end of the M67 in Mottram. Then we head up Woodhead Pass, till the turning for Holme Moss, then over the tops somehow to the Foxglove.
Details of the WYIOC meet here: http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/showthread.php?t=431139

No, I posted the right link. I was linking to the details of the meeting place, not the March meet thread
Saved me copying and pasteing all the details of the venue. I didn't want to link to the March meet thread as it could confuse some of our members which thread to post on

You'd also need sat nav to get back from there, as it isn't a direct route

Not wanting to hijack the therad but if you want a good cheap sat-nav i really can recommend Garmin I3 - which Halfords are doing for 129 quid - ok not as good as Tom Tom and no touch screen but does get you where you are going
Oh by the way i just bought one

in Oldham the Bomb is a legend, no car has sufficed in a scrap on the road, lots have tried - all have failed. You name it M3's Ferrari's a 911 Turbo - not a chance.
Will be bringing my Scoob so you all might have a chance
