Wirral (cheshire oaks )meets ...
We had got these underway, but the last one (november) did really get much of a response.
im not going to be around over xmas, so i aint going to plan/organise it, knowing i wont be there.
As i only work on the wirral, if somebody else wants to take over this.... from new year my timetables are changing so i may not always be able to make it...
i would rather fit in with something you guys run, when i can...
so, as they say in radio....its over to you now.
Frank

what do you mean by "link up" chief? as in "amalgamate with another club" or just drive over every know and then to meet?
Dai and I have already been over to the WYIOC and the LADS, so that's already happening. I'm not sure about amalgamating though, I'd like to keep our own identity as the SMACS.

No not amalgamate, just do a bit more or spread your wings a bit more, it would be good to invite more people from further afield i.e. lancashire and Cheshire, what about getting some of the wyioc or the lads to have a run out with us now and again.
I cant duck out really now 'cos i bought an Impreza.
It would be nice to have a bit more of regular meet, even if it is for a quick coke at the H&H

I've been to the last 2 Wirral meets and even though there wasn't many people there, it's still good to meet up for a chat. I like them as they are local where as the smacs one are much further away fro me and the other Wirral people.
I don't mind organising the Wirral meets as am always about in the evenings. What nights would suit people as Tuesday or Wednesday nights are best for me.

Yep was going to post up date and time for next meet.
31st Jan at 8:00pm at the the Old Hall pub, opposite the Sainsburys petrol station, Cheshire Oaks.
Meet up in the car park then go inside for a few drinks (coke for me) and a chat.

Not looking good for my car being back! I haven't even had the phone call to say the gearbox is on it's way to the garage yet....
Can someone let me know how it goes? If all is good I will be there for next month.

Jules, your more than welcome to come along if you can make it. Doesn't matter that your car's not on the road, if you've got another means of getting there then come along and join us.

Sorry I didn't get there. I hope there was a reasonable turn out! I am getting my car back tomorrow evening all being well. I will certainly have it for the next meet anyway!
How did it go?
