Just thought I'd say a big THANKYOU to all those whom joined in the convoy to the NBO this year, starting way down in the Midlands with Foxmod and around 7 others. At Sheffield he was joined by the S.Yorks (inc. Sheffield, Chesterfield) crowd who were a little more numerous than it appeared they would be on here . By the time they met up with the WYIOC at the Trading Post pikey encampment I counted about 54 cars. On to Ferrybridge services to fill our tanks and empty our bladders and collect another 10 or so from Hull and then on to the A1 (or the M62 as some got a bit lost ) where we were joined near York by 3-4 more. We never got a final tally, but I think we were IRO 70 cars which was a big improvement on last years 49, considering 5 of the WYIOC had gone up early to set up a stall, and that the overall attendance was down due to the poor weather

Roll on next year Where hopefully we can again improve our numbers and maybe be a little better organised A much bigger BBQ and a big fat invite to all in the convoy for free food may well cinch it

I never got lost I was just following every one else. When I should of been looking at road signs. Or had the gps plugged in and telling me to where to go, also the missus didn`t question where I was going. See noting to do with me at all. You also forgot to mention the group that went straight on at the M1 instead of turning left onto the M62. It was just a coincidence that I was in both of those groups.

Any way it was a good convoy even though we never caught you back up on the A1.

Free food? ** Checks WYIOC coffers for some small change to buy 100+ burgers.. 200+ sausages.. three bags of briquettes.. 1 lighter and some lighter fluid..

Nice idea and one to consider.. Just need Phil's mega Gas BBQ..
