I'm looking for some advice. My car is quite noisy from the back end. It's like a grumbling noise. I thought it was just my tyres but the noise is still there after a change. I've been told this is normal for Type R's. Do you find your cars are noisy as well? It sounds like a noise from transmission which gets louder the faster I travel.

Does it sound like a whining/rumbling, and similar sound to a knackered wheel bearing??

If so then mine does the same only really hear it at speed.

Yeah it does sound like that. I've had the bearings checked, changed the tyres and changed the diff oil but still noisy. The noise starts above 30 mph. I was thinking of getting a proffesional to look at transmision but if its "normal" amonst type R's then I may just have to live with it.

Have any of you fitted front foglights yourself? I'm having trouble locating the relay for them. Any ideas?
