PMSL! At the moment we have a scoob and a black Ford "Poo-gar" 2.5 V6 24v. We're selling the scooby though because we need to save some money - we want to get hitched at the end of the year and Kel wants to leave her job and set up her own company in 6 months. So the plan is to save some cash, get the above events underway and then look for another car. The poo-gar is a means to an end, we've saved £700 in insurance and £40 every time we fill it up (because the scooby is twice as thirsty!). Then we want to get another scooby or an evo later in the year, probably an STi if it's a scooby because by the time you've modded the damn thing it's cheaper to insure an STi. Actually, it was cheaper to insure an WR1 or a 22B than it was to insure our car with a re-map and full de-cat - insanity! So BE KIND! LOL! If we haven't got another scooby by the time of the NBO3 we want a lift there in one (hint). And I'd like to have a go in Neil's car because it sounds fecking fast.

As for my skin (PMSL at Rev!), I have it back again and will see you at the next Micklehead meeting. The consultant put me on some scary drugs to suppress my immune system and, apart from weekly blood tests to make sure it's not slowly killing my kidneys, things are going okay.

Neil, are you doing the scooby shootout?

Hi Paul, I'm on ciclosporin A, MTX is the next choice if the ciclosporin doesn't work but I seem to be reacting well to it. Have you taken these drugs yourself or do you prescribe them?! You're the first person I've conversed with (can't really say "met"!) who's heard of Cyc A or MTX.

ive had experience of a close family member using mtx. i'm also surmising it's for Psor etc etc. don't want to mention too much incases you don't want it broadcasting.

never had any experience with cyclosporin but mtx seems fairly safe in low doses, talking mg not grammes as they use for cancer.

How's everything going with you and your symptoms?

I'm taking it for eczema, I've always had the odd tiny patch but when I walked into the consultant's office and stripped off 2 weeks ago she couldn't believe what she saw (cue jokes, LOL!). It was like I had second degree burns over the whole of my body, total coverage, there was a queue of doctors and nurses waiting to have a look at me! I was the worst case they had ever seen and I didn't know it was so rare for an adult to get eczema like that. I declined in-patient treatment because I couldn't bear the boredom of being in hospital for 2-3 weeks so I've been off work to have treatment as an out-patient but I go back to work on Thursday.

I started the cyc A two weeks ago and it was miraculous, honestly, I never would have believed the difference it could make in such a short space of time. The side effects are not as bad as I anticipated, I do feel tired and the first week I felt nauseous as well but I'm not bothered too much by them, it's worth it to get my life back.

Neil, don't forget I offered the Forester as ultimate support vehicle!

Jase, glad the skin's clearing up, sounds pretty scary. Make sure Kel knows I'll be her first client

No probs Dave, more the merrier ( as long as keep 1:1 with the running cars..! ).

Now i am wondering, what is Kelly's business going to be? I hear they are legalising a zone in Liverpool .....
