WYIOC - February Meet - Thursday 24th
OK. So my ability to put the last Thursday of the month and the actual date together are, to say least, ropey...
But rest assured. Our illustrious Events sec has ensured that I make no mistakes this time. He's quality lad and can be trusted implicitly. Thanks Dave..
The next installment is looming... Question is?
1. Will it be dry enough to get the Thrapper out and away from the various tunnells dotted around Yorkshire with the sound of that Awesome V8 and hysterical giggling?
2. Will the yearbook be finally finished?
3. Will the Evo count increase as Chris's heart rules his head? Or is it the other way round?
4. Will it be light enough to have a run out? This WILL commence soon, so think up some 1-2 hr return runs. TP-to-guest-spot-somewhere-and-back-again...
5. Will Paul double check Dave's date to ensure he doesn't miss this one? (Sorry mate.. my fault )
All of these, and more, can be answered at the next meet at The Trading Post.
Not been before?
If you've never been, but had one resolution to join a quite superb bunch of boys & girls who enjoy their cars immensely, then you will be made very welcome.. We're not just a Subaru bunch.. There's usually a variety of Scoobs, Evo's and a stunning RUF 911 Turbo & a simply awesome Ferrari 360 CS that may make it if it doesn't rain/snow/mist or fog and the sun shines..
Seating
I will pre-book 'The Cabin' area to the rear of the restaurant so that we can all sit together.
Details of the venue are below..
Commerce Park, Pioneer Way, Whitwood, Castleford.
Tel: 01977 519587
Map ---- http://www.multimap.com/map/browse.cgi?pc=WF105PE
FACILITIES
Patio Area (with heaters), Wheelchair Access, Disabled Toilet, Baby Changing Facilities, outside & inside Children's Play Area (free).
Pre-meet?
See you all there @7:30pm

Room for 100+ cars. Please park towards the rear of the car park on club nights.. (no reason apart from the fact that it will look bloody good!!)
Pre-meet?
As mentioned in the WYIOC - Pre & Post Meeting Comments/Musings thread, we may be having a pre meet to look over the Yearbook. If you have any footage, pics or general items you think would go well on a 2004 Club Yearbook then let me or Sticky know.Ta very much..
See you all there @7:30pm

Prize? You've got some of the answers wrong. As Linford once said... 'you have to have PMA mate'...
1. Yes.
2. Yes... Won't you. (Please note there is no question mark at the end of that statement.)
3. No. They don't make a wagon version.
4. Yes. We don't need light. Some of our cars have headlamps that generate their own. But a sunny day is nice...
5. Yes. Cos a guy who can afford to own RUF Porche certainly knows a thing or two about personal management....

Kind of...
It tends to be a bit cleaner when it's removed than it was prior to 'insertion', however, it's really in your own best interest to clean it first, from a hygiene point of view if nothing else.
Anyone tried the new 'chilli' flavoured KY Jelly yet?

Just make sure you explain the real reason behind the KY jelly before you leave the house, then she'll understand the funny walk when you get back.
