Micklehead / Walton mob - remember we want a good turn out watching and competing!
See if we cn't sort a gazebo / barbecue, some sort of more secure / watched area to dump stuff from the cars ....
Any one fancy it? Discuss on 3 Feb at the Micklehead.

we will be announcing the details mid feb on here and on our website, and then taking entries, 100 scoobs and 20 invited guest cars, first come basis on entries, £40 per car in advance to compete.
we are also hoping to expand the trade/display side of the show massively this time and have enlisted The Organisation who run JAE to do so on our behalf. Interested scooby related (or other) traders will be able to apply for info anytime from feb onwards.

we are looking at grandstand seating for totb this year, but not as yet for scoobyshootout, however we are enlarging the spectating areas and the trade area, and looking at our options for it. if scoobyshootout grows at a similar rate to totb then we may be able to bring in grandstand seating etc for next time.
also, we will be running the 1/4m and top speed again at scoobyshootout, not a handling course, as we are still in early days with the event, and are doing it at a reduced entry cost compared to totb.
we hope to fill all 100 scooby entry places this time, it should be very popular now people have been to the first event, and therefore once all the 100 places have filled up there wont be any rwyb entries accpeted on the day, or during the last week prior to the event.

additionally we would like to state very early on that anyone driving around at speed on the public parking areas, donutting or otherwise misbehaving will be ejected from site fairly rapidly!!
once we have a site meeting next week and agree what's going where, i can post up details on the main forum for everyone. we are hoping to do some show n shine events in addition to a larger trade area and the like.
i suspect it will be the last week in feb before the entry forms go live on the totb website, we'll be closing off entries at 100 scoobs, and if it does fill up as hoped there wont be any rwyb entries accepted on the day, so get in early if you wish to compete. we are just awaiting some figures back on event insurance costs before we can set the £entry fee for competitors, but hopefully it can remain as per last year

Cheers Chris, look forward to it.
I would like to bring a support vehicle per running car, for my club/group, and have them sit together to look after the stuff us runners ( hopefully!) don't want to carry on the track but could be nicked, and set up a small service area, like the yorkshire lot did last year!
Not talking loads but 1 service vehicle max per car running if possible ( currently likely 2 or 3 cars entering! )
Thanks
Neil

no probs with sorting out pit-passes etc a bit nearer the time. we have a site meeting this week, once a few site issues are sorted we can put out the entry forms /details and start taking payments next week!
