Default WYIOC Fenay Bridge Meet - Thursday 24th June

Ladees & Gents.

Straight after this months Scooby shootout, Chez Harry Boy BBQ, NBO & Sticky Stuff England / France party comes the next WYIOC Meet at 'The Bridge'.

Can we cram any more activity in?

Plenty to talk about as we discuss this months events and take in the hardware.. we will also be talking about July's meet on a Dales/Moors run as 'The Bridge' will be closed for a refurb....

Remember to bring your Membership cards for 10% off your bill. If you're not a member, come along anyway and join on the night (£10) for the same discount (BTW this discount is available on any day)....

Slight Change to the Parking this month..

When you come into the car park.. park over on the right hand side next to the seating area.. We can then make use of the tables there to eat and drink...

New members or visitors are most welcome to pop on down and see what we're about...

Usual convoy from the Holmfield Arms (Wakefield) to the meet for those wishing to convoy regardless..

Nick... depends if we want to go via the 'Dazza' route? It's a little shorter (sorry Daz, couldn't think of a better word ), but a bit 'slower' overall.. too many 30's and built up IMO

I'm happy if the majority want to go that way.. show of keyboards? (I love democracy )

PMSL

Why not appoint a different 'Convoy Leader' every month. Make it their responsibility to plot a fun, quick, safe route where we're not gonna lose anyone.

(I'll be at the bottom of that list, then )

Can everyone who has paid their subs but NOT got a membership card please let me know. Either PM me or post on here.

Good idea son Please step forward the next convoy Sqn Ldr

'Sticky, stand still...'

If you would like the honour and kudos of coming up with an entertaining run into 'The Bridge' from either the Holmfield Arms or Cedar court then let me know. This honour and kudos could turn into disgrace and weeks of pi55 taking if it all goes horribly wrong mind.. just ask Sticky..

Looking like it's the 'large' battery on the car. It's simply given up on life and cashed in it's chips. Thing is, the alarm's gone into 'wattafuxappennin' mode and has just shut down in sympathy with the battery. Gonna get a replacement duracell today ('bishi warranty ) but I might have to wait 24hrs for the bleeding alarm to come out of mourning.

Was playing about in the river at Burnsall for a couple of hours, then went into Grassington for a BBQ at a friends caravan. Top afternoon, but the midges take no prisoners up there

Sticky - have you got my application yet in the post? It's in an envelope with a piccy of some turbo's on the front...

H-B I had a pm from Maddy at the end of May saying that he hadn't been able to log on for a couple of months so dunno whether he's got it sorted by now (or whether it's even his problem)?

Phil, as Al said, they're going. They have a stand there.

T'Evo's well paggered. I'm not sure if it's the alarm or the car, so I'm about to call 'Bishi to come and collect it and have a look.

Put a new battery on it yesterday. There's power getting to the ICE, but that's about it. No ignition lights whatsoever. No blinking LED's for the alarm. Nowt. Nada.

Been without it all week. You wouldn't believe how much I've saved in fuel

Makes a mockery of your 3 second advantage

Kick a man while he's down, why don't you?

Gentlemen, we can rebuild him. Better, faster, stronger.

...and it'll only cost $6,000,000

Don't worry Harry I'm still ere mate, been busy with work latley in/out of the country long hours. I sent a mail to Al, prior to last meetup stating that I could'nt make it, think I sent it to your postmaster mail address Al.

Will be heading to the NBO tomorrow, what...we have no convoy??

Will also be up for the next wyioc meet on the 24th.

I've seen or should I say heard Madgrip about in Morley, What the hell have they done, Morley use to be a such a pretty place and now its been spoilt with umpteen gatso's, well it has imo :P Someone has actually thought well I won't just put 2 up I'll spend the entire budget and blitz it, Hmmm I wonder where that budget was derived from.

Anyway,

Hopefully see you guys at the NBO, probably queuing around the hotdog stand.

Maddy, it's not just Morley. Leeds council have finally woke up to the money making scam so prevelent in other areas (Huddersfield ). They're all the way from Rodley to Rawdon and springing up all around the Ring Road. I even saw one near a school in Calverley. It'll be fun to see what the Morley knuckledraggers make of them. The Armley chavs wrecked theirs within days, and continued to do so repeatedly for months after We'd got off lightly 'til now

Aye, have you noticed the "relocated" one by Waterloo junction - used to be one of the few places you could get passed dawdling tw*ts on the inside up to the bus lane if the lights worked in your favour and it could almost be classed as "twisties"
