Happy New Year!!
It's that time again guys and gals...
In keeping with the 'Last Thursday' routine.. then it's Thursday 29th @7:30.
One rule for this meet...
You MUST be wearing or using a Xmas pressie at the meet.. third party pressies such as J4CK5ONS Bucket and spongue used to clean his motor are not allowed... Sorry mate.. old habits etc etc..
To show willing, I'll be wearing my 'Shagtastic' socks... really.
New members are always welcome.. whatever you drive... drop a message here if you need directions etc.. I, or another regular 'old leather picker', will be happy to meet up with anyone of they want to convoy in (excludes people from London and europe..obviously)

Count me in.
Didnt need a bucket and sponge as I bought one before the last meet!!!!!
Fitted all my gauges now and even treated myself to a knocklink so I am now a little happier with the car as I can see whats going on.
The only problem now is I seem to have more gauges the Marty McFlys Deloreon in Back to the Future - quite distracting at times!!
Happy New Year to you all!!!
See you all soon!

how many yards is it between bed and pc / phone...?

Hi Apple Mate - about 5 yards from bed to bathroom, then another whole four yards (is there a film title in there somewhere?) between bathroom and office..... It's just too much!!!
I'm convinced I've got sunstroke from cycling at 7500 feet in the blistering heat.....
Dave - WTF happened? I thought it was only me that did daft things (like pranging Kath's car)!

LOL @ Apple, ditto his comments... You wuss, wanna try my trip to and from work dude, you are more than welcome to it... Hope you had a good holiday all the same mate.
Corradoboy, you really do need the scoob and these things won't happen, well, depends how you go around corners I guess, but it generally doesn't happen...
I will be there, just, I think. And I should get bonus points for my Xmas pressie to myself, Prodrive Hella 1000FF driving lamp conversion and DBA brake discs all round.... Hopefully fitted by then...
Cheers chaps and happy new year to everyone.
Simon

Harryboy - Hope you had a good hol and Xmas 'n stuff. The wheel took the rough end of a Xmas eve trip along the Wrynose & Hardknott Pass' in The Lakes. 1st gear hairpin 1:3 incline unsighted pouring down and thud, WTF was that. Ooh dear. So that's £600 out of the Scooby Fund and CG gets the benefit of a spanking set of OZ Superlegerra's
Simon - If things like that don't happen in your Scoob, you're not trying hard enough
Al - Can't cancel the appointment, it's worth over £800 to the Scoob Fund if it all works out.
There may be a visitor from the Buckles crew paying you all a visit. Make Prodrive Andy and his beautiful STi8 welcome in my absence, and check out his DV
CU all in Feb, CB.

Hi Si,
Great hols thanks - just taking time to adjust to the cold and damp. It's hard when you're getting on a bit, you know.... The Shackletons High Seat is beckoning..... And there's no way I'm swapping your 5.30am routine! Not even for a drive in the 150ps Golf!
Dave - two classic passes in the Lakes. That's where we were videoed by some Scoob crazy nutter last year!
Si - Autosport Intl, almost tempted Mate. There's a thread in General at the moment on this topic.
Cheers, HB.

Thought you might be tempted to go
Glad you had a good time on your hols, work is depressing again, but at least the batteries are recharged...
I'll give you a call today/tomorrow for a chat.
Cheers

Hi Si,
5.47? Is that AM?? How can this be? Such an hour doesn't exist according to my alarm clock?
After much deliberation and research, my only conclusion is that there must be a defect on the Scoobynet server
