Cool

Merry xmas to one and all!
A big thankyou to all the smacs group this year, for what has been a fantastic year of driving adventures.
From going on track for the first time ever, to driving around the hills and valleys of north wales, cumbria, scotland, yorkshire, northumberland and of course our beloved cheshire.
A big thankyou to all who organised these trips and excursions, from andy_s to lordharding in the cumbrian scoobs, and to all who attended.
WHAT A YEAR THAT WAS!
So, what can we do to top it next year?
Well, to start, I think we should cut down our meets from every wednesday, to the first wednesday of the month.
Starting in the new year, wednesday 7th january can start us off.
Usual meeting spot here just where the map says "DOOLEY" in Dooley Lane.
It is a pub called the Hare and Hounds, and has a sizable carpark.
We need to decide what we're doing, so to start we have the autocar show at the NEC, thanks for that andy_s.
Another trackday? I'm also planning on getting up to cumbria again in the new year with the wife, so if your interested in that, let me know.
The tour of the counties?? Once I've finished decorating, and put the hi-fi back, I'll look into the logistics of that one.
Let me know what you all think, regulars and hopefully some newcomers for the new year,
see you all soon, round to mine for a bevvy one day soon, to show off my conservatory!

Sounds like a plan to me cheesy, is it our turn to do the route??
I wondered what that noise was tonight gav, I'm painting the lounge and conservatory, and thought some gas was leaking from somewhere!!!

slipping in some extra runs is fine by me, but to get people to come regulaly to the first of the month would be cool, see you soon,
chris.

Cannot do this one chris as it is setup day at the NEC so I will be looking around the show late into the evening. Best time to look LOL.
Nurburgring someone wants us to build a firecat ulitmate light weight to have a crack at the lap record.Cool.
So might have to time that trip with the smacs tour of Nurburgring.
Taking a truck that sleeps 6 as well.

No problems andy, I'm sure we'll go for a run out beforehand
see you soon,
hehe, thanks lordharding, I hope to see you and the cumbrian scoobys in the new year, as I really am planning to come up then,
all the best to you and yours, have a great time.
You'll have to put the vid on when the family are round on xmas day, that should have them asleep in no time
chris.

Once a month - I'll be needing a more regular fix than that when it gets sunny again (work permitting).

Was thinking of organising some kind of treasure hunt/bbq for the summer, a day out for all the family maybe. I am looking into how that would work currently, and will let you know if it is a goer.

Nurbergring - it just has to be done. Sorry, but it HAS to.

super, madscientist metioned a treasure hunt kind of thing earlier this year, but he never got round to organising it.
I'm up for giving you a hand with the route and marshalling if you want to plan something for a sunday spring afternoons drive.
Nurby is really getting under your skin eh

Merry Christmas Lads and Lasses.

There's going to be a few pints of the black stuff consumed in the next week.
MMM I can taste it now!

Re first wednesday of each month sounds good but all depends on what shift I'm on. But i'm sure we will cram more in between.
60000 miles nearly on the clock so I'd better get booked in at Prosport in the new year! Gav I can't have your dumpvalve as I need all my pennies on the service!

Tony if you are on Lates any chance of having a thrash over to Buxton this morning (Tuesday) to get yours?

Agreed Chris, I am working too hard (please speak to my boss and tell him! )

Have a good meet and a good day at Autosport (wish I could have got the time off to go there with you as my g/f also wanted to go but nevermind).
