A BIG THANK YOU TO ALL THE RAIDERS !!
#1
Just like to say a BIG thank you to all of you for turning up to make the
RAID ACROSS THE BORDER 2 a success with 31 cars today
including the East meets West at keilder where Mal and martin led their own scooby convoy
an incident free day although the bird of prey was close to gussy and me at 100 MPH !!
as usual stephen and abbey kept us amused with their <antics> and enjoyed playing catch up !!
I think we only saw 7 cars on the middle stretch as god kept his promise with closing most of the roads for us
CW 42 ;Blitz boy ,Missy c and supertouring hungover from last nights pub session with me helped lay the wet leaves ;potholes ,remove all speed cameras and whitelines and spray water over parts of the Raid this morning .
We also let out a few pheasants and sheep to give an interesting Raid !!
The meal was excellent value and next year we might include the scooby swim and sauna at the hotel when we invite the pirrelli and max power girls to join us
look forward to seeing you all again at the

Super run out John.
Glad I could help with the East meets West VISION
Big thanks to Mal for leading the TTS crew.
Unfortunately, I did have a bit of an incident with a pheasant on the journey home. Will asses damage tomorrow. (To the car not the pheasant). I know what happened to the bird, some of it is still splattered across the headlights.
Great day
Martin

Top Day! Well done organisers, when`s the next one?
Bad luck with the pheasant Martin, i`d have gone back and stamped all over the ****** just to make sure it was dead! Look on the bright side though, at least your car moves, mine don`t! Hope it aint too bad
Steve Em, you shouldn`t drive so fast then i was only out for a sedate drive in the country

just got in now! roadworks on M6 and M60
FANTASTIC WEEKEND LORDHARDING. A big thankyou from me, and I am sure the rest of the smacs group that joined you.
I've got that on video, as soon as I get some time, I will pop it on this thread!
Some of the roads we did on saturday, on the way up to Brampton were spectacular as well, and require further investigation I think!
See you all again next year, I had better pre book now with your mum john, or maybe with you? hehe.

Not long back home as M6 was at a standstill at a few places for roadworks ... but plently of loud music, munchies and time to contemplate the 552 miles of fast/sweeping/windey/ and seriously scenic roads covered over the last 2 days LOL we were airborne more than once along the way
Came off at J19 via Macc and across the deserted Cat and Fiddle to round the treck off.
Thanks Lordy for another excellent day out, and everyone else for making it such fun
