Derbyshire drive tonight! (thurs 10th)
bit last minute but does anyone fancy a driveout around derbyshire tonight? me, cheesy and maybe a few others are meeting up the Moorlands at Owler Bar for 730 for a steady(ish) drive around, no real route planned as yet.
If I could borrow a faster car I would be there, its literally at the end of my street!
Have fun. Maybe I'll try and get sorted for the next one
Ps sorry to hear your news rusty festa

peccy, the cat and fiddle road is one of the best roads you'll drive on. me and the rest of the south manchester lot (including andy. s) drive up there loads. i think it was tiff nidell who said it's one of his favorite "driving" roads. if your going over that way we can arrange a bit of a meet in macclesfield (the start of the road) and have a drive up there.

scoobygav555, sounds like a plan, we will be heading over from buxton end, could meet in buxton and do the road to whaley bridge which seemed pretty decent then back over the Fiddle? or do the Fiddle twice
Andy S,
There are some great roads round you. Used to work out there and had to do a lot of driving round the Peaks and Dales....ooo so boring
Road to Buxton from you aint so bad as I remember.
Peccy, I know a lot of good roads around there so when I get my next car, or when I can beg, borrow, steal, co-drive in a friends (tho they all live miles away
), passenger with anyone, I would be more than willing to show you all some great routes if you need.

Did you do Long Hill last night (The road from Whaley to Buxton) I live near the bottom of the hill. I wish I had checked before I left work last night. I have the pain of having to drive that road every day to work such a shame NOT! We are all going for a blast next Wednesday. The cat and fiddle road is superb, bikers have no chance on the twisty stuff.
WE had a good blast last night! PECCYS exhaust farting all the time I'm surprised none of you heard us blast by? Good route PECCY shame it rained a bit, slowed us down! We'll get some air on that yump next time as I nearly landed on the volvo! Lets get a few more people next time meet up with some others at the cat and fiddle( awsome)!will be away for a fortnight so see you when I get back.
