I love Crown Green bowling so i`ll bring my pipe and flat cap along, i should look really cool in my Evo cruising down the back roads of Southport with a pipe in my mouth and flat cap on! Do i need to go the whole hog and wear white slacks, i don`t want to be the odd one out lol. Ten pin should be a laugh, should have Scoobies v Evo`s on the lanes and with the usual outcome lol...Rob

I am trying to arrange a meet at a dealership, for the july meet, not alot of talk from the 'shops'.
All i have so far is that july 9th is the best possible date for one and nothing from the other yet.
So it looks like we may be meeting on the 9th this next month, sorry for any inconvienience.
Will put more info up when i have it.....hopefully it will be either Rochdale or Widnes.


Just a thought, any ideas for a run out mid august?

The name is now known and the reputation established by their service department. Much better to take expensive full page colour ads in the local press than open their doors to us it would seem.

Perhaps I should pop down to the next promotion and park my car in front of their showroom

 

If the meet at the dealer's looking like the 9th, how about having the regular meet as usual at the wiggin tree anyway?

If I was actually in the country for the next meet, I'd echo Saint's comments with regards going to the pub. There's beer. There's food. There's loads of room. There's comfy chairs.

TBH, a dealer's only going to want you there if they've got stuff to shift and it suits them, otherwise you're an imposition meaning they have to work late. They're unlikely to get anything out of it other than a queue of internet geeks wanting to rag the **** off an STi8-PPP.

But, as I won't be there, it's not my place to say

The concensus from those that have made their feelings known, is to proceed wiyh things as normal.
Then so be it,....................the meeting stands!
