No, i'm not having flashbacks from Amsterdam! We are organising a run out on Sunday 6th April. Meeting at Penrith Auction mart, just off the A66/M6 junction at 10am. An exciting route is being organised and we will end up back at the Sportsman Inn at around 3pm for lunch. As usual the route will be kept secret until the morning of the event when details will be handed out.

Midlife this is the long awaited one. Had a few trials and tribulations lately so it took a while! Look harder on Phil's site and you'll find my car as well!

Hi Mark
Found it! sorry, I didn't twig the surname.
Yeah, I need to do the brakes too. Someone in a WR Blue mica Fugly STi (I think) overtook me on the inside of eden bridge / hardwick circus tonight doing {cough}30mph{cough). I just got the start of the numberplate as S6......I dropped into second to try and catch up but had to brake to turn right on Brampton Road.
Not a bright idea. Whats the best quick mod so that pedal pressure stops the car quicer? Change the pads ?
Midlife...
Ps Lordy Are you reading this.? I have had a post from the SECS people to say that they are coming on the NBO as I mentioned that I was going, wanted one and there was going to be a LOT of Scoobs. I hope you don't mind...

Midlife, you need to spend some more money and change the pads and hoses. Won't cost you too much, honest. Next time we meet i'll have a chat to you about it.

Thanks for the advice..it was the first time that I realised that I needed to stop as quickly as I can accelerate !! See you on 6th April.
Lordy..
The SECS device attaches to the select monitor port and records all sorts of information from the ECU and sits on the dash. In my case on a pod replacing the exciting clock. I have a 16 year old MR2 with more info about the engine than my MY02.
I still can't get pictures to upload so I'll e-mail you a picture and here's the website..

I am completely new to this and was looking for a 3 guage pod to fit for oil pressure etc like my old MR2 and came across this LCD device. I didn't want to pay £600 odd quid for the Official Subaru kit.!!!
I'll e-mail you a picture of it in a MY02 taken at TSL and find a thread to ask the guys who sell it at web site psi.co.uk
It looks pretty smart and I would really like one (but there again I am a bit of a tart)

Goes under the name of PCB on Scoobynet.
