Not so friendly
well can i just say that i am more than dissappointed with the response to my previous thread.Although i would like to thank the couple of you who did let me know of a couple of meets.I did think that i had found the perfect meets which are near to me in heywood but the unfriendly ianc and jim litten would not furnish me with the details i must say i think it was when i mentioned i was a female that they ignored me.Probably scared of being embaressed be the opposite sex which is so last year come on guys sort yourselfs out.

Can't believe you posted that about Ian & Jim - great guys who spend a lot of time and effort in organising meets.In their defence, perhaps they were busy organising said event...
Never mind, no point in getting wound up about it. There are plenty of events all over the country to go to. for example, Tia and I drove all the way to Sawley yesterday for the Notts/Derby meet - only a 330mile day

Cheers, Jon

Those Midlanders need showing how to organise a proper meet

LOL - cracking weather and a good turn out of nearly thirty scoobs plus Trouser's monster truck
Had a good chinwag with Gridlock Mikey and Charlie Whiskey 'bout the NBO and other stuff - I get the impression they don't like going on runs - see the new thread here in Midlands where they may drive from one pub to another (but no more than 5 miles
)

Was a twelve hour Scoobathon for Tia and I and the Sport now has an extra 330 (s)miles to show for it

Sorry frankie, things got a bit mad just before the last meet.
Next big one is the dales run, why not come along?
(and no, no probs with girlies coming along, my other half would prefer to be dragged along to a meet where there was some female company.. )
