Well considering that was my first track day, its really got me the bug. Can't beleive how many scoobys were there, it was heaven!!!. I suppose the weather helped too, but did not help my tyres to much, my Toyos are goosed, but well worth it, the day was excellent.
Hope everyone esle enjoyed it, from what I was seeing on the track people deffinately were, especially having fun going round the Melbourne loop, how much rubber was going down!!!!

There were obviously some track day specialist out there going hammer and tongue, me, I have good track experience from my biking days but its totally a different experience in a 300bhp scooby. It was great!!

Good cruise from Knutsford services, thanks to those who turned up. Nine in total!! who was the lad in the grey Impreza taking pics of our cars going down the A50, hope you are going to post them on here matey!!

Thanks for SIDC for arranging a superb day, roll on the next!!

P.S Ill post some pics soon a they arrive.

Nice one Avi,
I wondered what that lad was doing hanging out of your car!.......I thought he was trying to get out
Sorry we didnt let you know before we all got off......the last I saw of you was when you walked off with your lolly-ice.Mail me you mobile for future expeditions if you want.
The turnout was amazing........the track action good.......the trade stands pooh.....and the best I thought was the drive there and back.....oh and the weather .
PS. who pockets the gate money?
Must admit though, the day started bad for me waited for 15 mins at Burtonwood servicesTexted Nick A,who pointed me in the right direction to Knutsford, silly me......
Later Yoza

Fish1 is also known as Glenn Salmon (Ill sort this I'll be Glenn Salmon from tomorrow)

AVI, yeah mine is the Type R. Good pictures mate. How do you post pics, I should get mine tomorrow.

My mate Paul who has Escort Cosworth is going to Castle Combe this weekend, if anyone is interested, its on Saturday. I won't be going as im going on holiday a week this Saturday for 2 weeks, so I be needing pleanty of beer tokens. I think my car needs a rest too.

Yeah Nick, my car seemed to handle quite well too, I recommend Toyos!! I was having a good battle with a new UK300 which was all over the place, understeer and well underpowered!! He had good brakes though as they were ProDrive, they were big!!

Looking at Yoza's parking im glad he werent on track. Hahaha!! joke!

What time did you all head off? I was there till about 5:30PM

Had a good couple of rides out.. Thanks to JohnFelstead, we had many a lap going completely sideways.

See below

Gaz, who was with me , had a good couple of rides out in Adge's 22B and also a good few sideways laps with Blowdog

Great day out, shame Blue had an incident at the end, but it was only really panel damage, looked a lot worse , and he's OK

Hi all, Ive been informed that I have to change my name cos its sad so im going to do it, Now....

erm thanks all for a top day, blowdog`s skyline was awesome (thanx cem) and that 22b was just pure unadulterated automotive pornography (thanks adge)
I have been dreaming of imprezas all day and I have already made the mistake of looking at auto trader, so a trip to the bank manager may well be in order quite soon.
Once again thanks to everyone for the entertainment

Adge, my passenger noticed you pulled in ealy in the B Session, I never saw you go in, cos you was a bit in front and I was concentrating.

Are you the one with the remote control car! it was quite cool, it seemed quicker than some scoobies out there!!!!

Cheers!

Cheers Adge. I came in after 4 laps on session A to top up my water spray bottle and noticed my brakes were smoking, im in the same boat, I need some 6 pots too!!

I went none stop in session B and my brakes started to fade after lap 4, so then I took it easy for a lap.
Wouldnt mind seeing them cars at Stafford, but im doing a car boot to raise some extra cash for my holiday abroad the week after. I could not afford to do Donington really but I spent some holiday money to fund it. I mean, I could not afford to miss out on Doni, could I!!!

Keep in touch Adge, let me know some furhter dates on car racing - salm.fish@ic24.net

Cheers

Glenn

I also - as the only EVO7 in the carpark (unless there was one hiding somewhere)!

I'd make a marvellous pit crew (as seen, unable to find the bonnet opener).

Yep - Good pics Andy, and a good day. Particulary so as it looked like there were only a few EVO's there and I only saw one other 7 and he was on track, so I had the carpark to myself!!!

Glen - how did the pics turn out???

And I notice you didn't get any pics of my motor on the road (COS I WAS TOOOOO FAST FOR YA ALL!!!!!!!!!!)

Glen, yes I did pull into the pits early, I was just dropping off Gaz after taking him round for a few laps and also letting the brakes cool as they were starting to fade badly. Must save up for some 6 pots. Glad you liked the r/c car. If you want to see some top model car racing the next big meeting is next sunday at Stafford. Hope you enjoyed the track sessions, your car certainly goes well.
