I watched top gear but started watching this. It'd be a lot better if they'd stopping for ad breaks every 10mins, it's live for Gods sake. It's still fascinating though and a reminder of just how insignificant we really are.

Have to say this was top notch - ad breaks excluded lol
Just shows the level of professionalism & training they go through.
The guy with the water globule in his helmet, working his way back to the air lock in the dark.
There level of training must be immense.
but I'd give it a go that must be the ultimate buzz

Or the guy in the studio with Dermott telling the story of when he rung off a screw that held a handrail on. He needed a solution to remove it or the planned 10hr space walk was ruined. The solution that came from the NASA nerds ?
"Break it off"
Just shows even at NASA sometimes it's just a bit of brute force thats needed.

Question-
What point would we need to evacuate earth and live on another planet such as Mars ? The reason I ask is this. Mars has **** all on it (air/atmosphere/water) and it's kinda far away , so would it not be better to stay on earth and tuff it out ? If earth gets too warm from global warming , it'll still be cooler than Mars. If it fills with water , we float on structures. I mean , we are already here so we will save a journey of leaving a ruined planet to go to a different ruined planet. Would it not be easier building under ground bunkers to survive the initial cause of disaster (meteor/huge volcano) or even space centers near by so we can just easily pop back when "the dust settles" so to speak ?
