How do I stop spams from a drug company whose "unsubscribe" button just goes directly to their home page?

If you click on their "unsubscribe" option you simply comfirm that your e-mail address is live, which will then be sold to other scum to send you even more spam.

Your mail programme sounds really bad. I've never had that even with pre-historic Freeserve in past. Only the ones I wanted to send to spam folder went there unless I made a mistake with my own typing fingers.
