Yup, he seems to have gone very quiet - just like he did when he claimed that he had "The OLDEST Mobile Phone Here".

At least he is predictable

It's supposed to get colder next week.

I predict that it'll snow the day after I take my winter tyres off.

And he's able to give near enough predictions. We, in North Wales, did have snow around 12th, if not on 12th itself. He's a Scoobynet God, really.

Thanks for pointing out another similarity to God.

God lives in heaven.

Cooling off slowly over the next 10 days - probably not quite cold enough for snow at lower levels but hill snow is likely from middle of next week into second week of March.

Oh. That's alright, then. Less travel for me due to half term here this coming week, anyway.

It has been windy as hell here, though. Hope we continue to stand strong than gone with the wind. Garden fence's destiny is another matter.

Quite snowy for me last week in the Italian Alps

Drove back yesterday 7 countries in one day - 900 miles with wife and kids in the car (8 up in all) and all the skis and snowboards

Gotta love these Landcruisers, no other car could have done it

(about 376 ltrs of fuel though)

Christ, that looks grim.

I don't mean to say that it was grim for you guys, instead I'm sure it was perfect for your purpose. Bet it was fun for you all. Landcruiser is dog's bollocks, fair play. Love to have one, but can't justify the cost of fuel in this one-week wonder snow country.

I hope that was there and back one way it works out at just shy of 11mpg, 21mpg and a bit if it was each way, still a fahooking big bill, mind you 8 of you going on a plane and renting 2 cars when you get there I suppose it's still cheap at twice the price.

Beg to differ on the no other car, my Isuzu Trooper 3.1D has done it for years and 30mpg too.

Yeah, both ways - 1800 miles approx. 23 mpg

Does the trooper seat 8 though?

No mine is a SWB as I wanted better off road capability and 99% of the time there's only me in it, but I think the long wheel base does, my old Mazda bongo 4x4 did too but that was bloody slow, the trooper will happily sit at 90mph for 1200 miles, even with a 4 berth caravan on the back.
