Default 192.com? And similar.

This is all I can find online, looking for an old mate. I have his name and where, but everyone seems to want cash upfront for any info they might have?

I thought the electoral roll was free access? Doesn't seem so.

Doesn't even find him, which 192 does, but then they want £££ for the info.

I'm sure I'd read that this was supposed to be easy in the internet age.

How important it is for you to find that old mate of yours? If it is VERY important, then pay and they'll display. If not important, then don't bother. If you are just stalking your 'friend', don't bother.

Money comes, money goes. If he/she is your good mate who you'd very much like to get in touch with, then just pay. Just do it. Good luck.

What about Facebook? Everyone seems to find everyone on there. What happened to Friends United? Does it still exist?

That's what I thought.

All I find is sites trying to make money.

In the UK the whole phone directory costs to access. In France, it's free.
