I need a plumber YESTERDAY
I know this should be in the diy section but i need maximum hits....
I have an aqualisa aquamist powershower that was pouring water out of the side.
After dismantling it i noticed one of the lugs that the head & pipe has snapped off causing a bad seal.
I glued this just to put it back together but the shower will not stop dripping (2drips a second).
Amazingly the glued section is working but i cant leave this drip.
I know a plumber will say the cartridge is shot but it's a brand new one as I origonaly thought the first fault was the cartridge.
The one thing I don't get is that previously with a drip I could turn it from hot to cold and the cold wouldn't drip. But now weather its on hot or cold it drips hot.
We are currently left with the hot water turned off so that we can have cold water & electrics. Why - the **** that installed it didnt put any taps along the pipe work that is routed under the floor & inside a wall with only about an inch of pipe hanging out for the shower to click onto.
I am happy to replace the main motor - with repaired lug but something is telling me Its the Valve body assey thats at fault.

Any pointers?
Im thinking of cutting my losses and buying a new shower but will any shower click on these outlets?
Sorry for the esssay....

Ok I've had a second attempt and feel better.
I've repaired the clip and it appears to be holding. The new cartridge had the I ring but not the plastic ring. So after anther go of draining the house it isn't leaking at all.
I have ordered a new motor and will install it Wednesday. Just can't shower till then.
Mods you can now move this to the DIY section
Thanks
