Flat pedals - good to see you guys are keeping it real!

Luke, how about getting a white background SUBARU sticker to go over the of the VOLVO one, or perhaps you need a pink badge. LOL

Meaga Stream ...your right!!

Would like to air my opinion.... This bike and one other where taken to a Major Bike shop in Watford. They are Hope dealers. The work and finish they did on both bikes was terrible. I have told "Hope" about them. Make sure if you get your bike serviced the bike shop know what the hell they are doing....

I have just started to use "Race Face" grips. Very nice would reccomend them.

Adam

Yes mate it is......... they looked good ,but failed as far as i was concerned. They had the bikes for ages...

Chris ,I look after my bikes.I have had one attempt to take the bike of me in Finchley... 2 guys and a van job. I threw the bike at one of them and they Fukked off!! The wheels set up cost nearly £500.00!!

if you have disks, take them off and have them engraved for about £8.00 pair. Name and postcode. Also take the sheels off and take the pads out from the calipers before giving the bike a good clean. These things dont like oil etc!!

Be lucky and WEAR A LID (HAT!!)

Nice bikes

Don't get the frame repainted! I made that mistake with one of my cannondales and regretted it. It has to be sent back to cannondale to be done properly or the lifetime frame warranty is void.

Just get a sticker togoover teh Volvo bit and spray clear lacquer to seal it.

Luke - I love the Stars'n Stripes paintjob and certainly wouldn't paint over it.

Just out of interest, any thoughts on good, fast rolling XC tyres such as Panaracer Trailblasters? I need some new tyres and can't decide what to go for...

Luke,
Nice 'dale. I say keep the paint job, but change VOLVO to something else (clue: change first O to another vowel *snigger*)

Marin,
I find WTB Motoraptors roll quick, but are very soft, so slime of thorn tape is necessary. Personally, I'm sticking to my Conti Vertical Pros, because although they 2.3 inch and heavy, I've had no flats all winter, so I'm staying with them

Cheers

Marin,

I'd heartily recommend the Factory XC SL from Tioga. I've been running them for a while and they work real well, narrow, fast, reliably grippy and they even work in mud pretty good. Being so narrow they do need some serious pressure or you'll flat for sure. There are plenty good ones out there though just depends on your bike and riding style as to what will be best.

For semi type slicks I love the "NOKIA.s" and "Verdistiens spiders"

Remember anyone who has a "Headshock" check its "Cover boot" for any damage... And holes get a new one (£9.00)
