People Per Hour
Has anyone here used People Per Hour? It's an app/service for contractors where people post their requirements and invited proposals from potential contractors (ie, I need an app written for...., or I need a website built, or I need plans for a planning application etc etc).
Just wondering if anyone here has experience of PPH; good or bad?

Never used that site but have used Freelancer. Just be careful I've been burnt before.
I should explain, hired a freelancer to do some work, he did maybe 10%, just the easy stuff then went quiet, ended in a dispute and he got paid for 50%.

I've offered to put some development appraisals together so developers can apply for bank funding with them. I can't guarantee they'll get funding as I can't control their purchase/selling costs etc etc but I've used the appraisal so many times to get funding that I known it shows what a bank want to see.
Doing everything and not getting paid would obvious be a pain and I am expecting some level of hassle with getting paid at some point, as so far I've been working with people who've called me direct or via recommendation.
I've heard of freelancer but not looked at it - might have a nose later if I get time :-)

Thanks for that. Pretty similar views to me really, but thought I'd give it a go as worst case I would lose a couple of hours.
I'll look at the other sites to
Cheers
