I Was contemplating getting my broadband from BT in order to get the BT sport channels to watch the moto GP on but after an email to BT they've replied saying they have no intention in putting fibre optic broadband in my area for the foreseeable future...... So they can **** off the *****!

Bugger, no coverage on Eurosport!
Looks like my days of watching moto gp are over then
Who's commentating on BT Sport, have they grabbed Toby and Julian?
One worth getting as a trackside commentator is Randy Mamola

How come BT Sport are no longer advertising their right to show Moto GP then?
They are still advertising everything else that they have bought the rights to show, but Moto GP no longer features in their television adverts!
As Dorna now run WSB as well, that will be the next to go!

If the standard of commentators they hired for the football is an indicator, they will have 'snapped up' Matt Roberts

Indeed.
Plenty of sites out there which will allow you access.
I really don't understand BT though, do they really think they're going to increase their user base subscriptions that much?
All that money, for example approx £90 million on champions league & Europa league football.
I guess the existing user base will get hit with subscriptions at some point.

Related, but I really don't see how Sky and to a lesser extent, BT can carry on charging for sport content, since it is now so simple to get a quality video stream online there is no need to pay either of them.

Maybe, but to have to pay for something that has always been free - its the only sport I watch, and I'm not paying just for that.
And also in an area where we'll be lucky to see BT broadband by the end of 2015.

I see why you have a BT issue now. Fortunately for me, KC seems to stop at Newport/Gilberdyke area. I'm on a copper line but get between 19-21Mbit/s connection depending on time, day etc, so can't complain.

Luckily for me my old man has BT BB so I can borrow his login. iPhone app is hit and miss (2 star review in app store) but on PC it seems ok. Pic quality not as good as Sky Go though.
