Found attached to the wife's tights when I removed them from the washing machine. The washer is a Bosch Classixx 6.



Could they be some sort of filter from the washer that something else has broken out of place?
If so, are they replaceable?

And why five of them? I'd have thought five was too many...too easy to get blocked up with fluff etc?

They appear to be stainless steel and are woven, rather than etched mesh.

I think they are the filter on the cold water in let pipe. They either sit at the machine end or the 'tap' end. They may be others part way through the machine however.

I did wonder where they went - i left them in my boxers at your house - if they are done, can i have them back
