Default Man Flu

I have it and I feel like death warmed up.
Child birth would not come close.

That is all.

God I hope I pull through! I really struggled to breath last night. Women in labour never have that problem.

Been off work all week now with it, bloody annoying !

Monday : couldn't get off the sofa, shakes, shivers the lot. It was touch and go for a minute there, not sure I was going to make it

Tuesday : same thing but got so bored of TV that I went and worked on the car because one of my mates told me to 'man up'.

Wednesday : managed to drag myself out to watch my daughters school xmas play and then died again last night, worst sleep ever

Today : woke up with nausea and stomach ache and so the wife took the kids to school. Watched as she drove off with the kids in my car, worried sick. Wondered if she would be able to handle the power of my car

Lemsip, beechams, hot toddys, huge amounts of drugs and still no better.

This site helps

after a courageous battle with man-flu over the past two days I have finally been overwhelmed. I have taken a rare day off work, and have been downing a coctail of over the counter pills to ensure I fend it off before Christmas.

Hang in there my good men, we can beat this together!!!!

This week I needed to be at work as it was all the xmas parties

Damn

But last week at work is always busy and this week was no exception so bit of a problem but managed to do some work from the sofa.

Every xmas is the same, someone in the house gets something around this time, usually the kids and a few years ago every single one of us had the sickness bug. Obviously NOTHING like man flu which is a killer !!

Hang in there guys, the collective are wishing you all well

The females are of course rolling their eyes

It's given to intellectually superior folk who deserve to be kept healthy. I am sorry but I don't think you would qualify

Had it since the weekend, now developed a chest infection with it.

Bloody horrible, my father-in-law had it last month and it put him in hospital for over a week.

Man flu however is an altogether different thing and no known vaccine or cure exists, I have however with the help of a certain Mr. Daniels found a homeopathic remedy that helps alleviate the symptoms. Just pour a good amount of Jack's delightful amber nectar into a glass, add a little water and a lot of ice. Drink whilst wrapped up warm and repeat as necessary until all traces of the Man flu no longer cause an issue.

I don't need to experience it myself to suffer from it. Us wimmins are the ones sitting listening to all the whining and sniffling.

Don't forget, when you do actually feel better, give a pathetic little cough now and then, just to milk it a wee bit longer
