Grrrrr I'm flying out to Iceland soon and went to order the korona with travelex and they came back with:

Sorry, due to the current export ban we cannot get hold of any Iclandic currency.

Now what? I'm screwed...

Been to first choice and it's the same thing.

I know I can pay by card out there but for a 10p sweet can I pay with card?

Just go to the cashpoint in the airport when you arrive. Nice little airport there ( oh get lots - the beer ain't cheap)

Never seen the fascination with getting fx here unless it's somewhere where there is an issue on arrival.

Prepare yourself for :
Bathing / Showering in water that smells of rotten eggs.
Crippling high prices - for everything. Example. 10 years ago I bought two half pints of orange juice and a pint of beer and it was the equivalent of £35 GBP
