Unhappy

I bought a Panasonic KX-TCD725 dect phone yesterday, and tomorrow I'm taking it back, becuase of poor sound quality, both ear piece and speaker plus the bl**dy answer machine won't work when I register another handset to the base.
Any other suggestions to the best make to go for, I'm at my wits end, thought the panasonic would be the dogs'

cheers
Martin

I'm supprised to hear that as Panasonic are normally Very good.
My advise is do not buy anything BT and try anything form ASCOM, I have the avena model and this is TOP. Also know of at least 4 others who have the same and they rate them well.

Also try the Ericsson as they are exceptional but can be a little exspencive.

Cheers
Daz

I have heard a lot of bad stuff about the panasonic DECT phones (I used to work there). I have an Ascom I got it cause it was the cheapest but I have not had better sound quality elsewhere.

Also have a Samsung with Answerphone which I have to say is pretty good.
Has full hands free and a wired headset )like a mobile hands free) its also very small and can be carried in a shirt pocket (the phone not the base unit!)
