Winter is nearly here
Winter is nearly here & our native birds will soon be finding food scarce. Please go to the pet shop & buy a bag of nuts for our feathered friends.There is no finer sight on a
winter's morning than a pair of **** around your nut sack. Just remember however it's a bit early in the year to expect a swallow.

Joking aside 
A 20kg bag of peanuts in Costco is £22 iirc which is excellent valley, out local garden centres sell the same bags for approx £45-50
Also a 20kg bag of mixed feeder seed is about £7 and the same stuff in the supermarkets is about £4 for a 1kg bag iirc

Pontificating
lots of ****, coal, blue and great, thrushes, robins, finches, blackbirds, starlings, wood pigeons and wood peckers amongst others in our garden, all enjoy peanuts and sun flower seeds.
