Default hamilton to portsmouth

Hi how long would it take to travel from ml3 to po7 7lq in a van satnav says 6hrs 40mins but my boss say more like 8hrs plan on doing it there and back in a day

Id say your boss is on the money, you won't manage it in a day!


Best of flying into Southampton airport then hoping on a train to Pompy.....its right next door....That's unless you need to take a car.

It's only a bit over 400 mile!!!

Need to take the van as im taking their stuff down as my daughter is moving in with him

So 8 hours allowing for hold ups which is inevitable on UK roads....

yep 7.5- 8 with stops and hold ups should be no problem if the traffic flows and you one hit it then 6.5-7, i used todo it in around 7 in a artic overnight (before they had limiters).

Bloody hell, that long?

I can get from Valencia to Bordeaux which is an extra 100miles in less time than that!

Shows how crap it is to travel any distance in parts of the UK

(to put it in perspective I've made it to from Dudley to Zarautz in under 15hours - 940miles including breaks....will probably beat that time once the French finish upgrading the N10)

I regularly used to do Guildford to the lakes and that would take 6-7 hours in a car, 8-9 hours more like.
