Microwave/oven
Had this 15? Years, but the door plastic surround fell off last year, so bought new microwave (on the floor). The old glass is stood in front of old microwave, and of course there's the inner door as well.
Iv been told should skip it, maybe it's poisoning us, what du think - seems shame to throw it

OMG must be a day for microwaves failures!
Came home for lunch today and figured id have yesterday chinese...
2mins later stirred and put it back in for a 30 second but this time i also put the plastic pot of sweet n sour sauce... Buzz buzz boom! I leg it out the room and slowly come back in and flick the power at the plug.
I finished my lunch without sauce and phoned the wife to say don't use the microwave As its blown up and ill bin it later.
She replies. Oh its been buzzing with bright lights inside for a few days! WTF

Don't worry. There was a picture of a socket and some meaningless urban buildings. No big deal, so chill.
I did look for your picture in James Bond stylee , as it's a shame that you iz my internet mate, and I don't even know what you look like. What if you are a fugly, hm?
Only joking, so don't bite my head off, ok?
PS: I did look for your picture, though.

But I know your girlfriend, she's cool! You have posted a pic of her on the barge here before, Duncan. However, what you do is that you click on the link at the bottom of the Photobucket page where it says "view full website". Then you go into your albums to select a pic. Then click on the image link (it gives you 4 options, I think) option, and bingo. Then you can paste that link here with on the head and tail of the link. Try it next time.

Power is quite erratic back in Bulawayo, mostly when you wouldn't want it. ( thus saving power company cash)
They are still harrassing people for money from time of change over to dollar.

Nice.
This power cut business is same in India, too. I was on phone with my brother due to Raksha Bandhan yesterday (They rang, shame I had no idea. My feeling of guilt is unbearable), and got told that monsoon has disrupted everything there. To be honest, Monsoon is no excuse. Power cut is an everlasting problem there regardless. My mummy needs constant A/C now due to her old age and health issues, but hey, welcome to India- the country of appalling drought, relentless rain and ruthless power cuts- all in one. Amazing.
