Bye, Bye Ed?
Well the knives seem to be out for Ed Miliband. His "loyal" shadow cabinet are well and truly out to get him.
But there seems no obvious replacement and I can't see smoothie Mandelson, for example, given much support.
I'd lay a small bet that David Miliband might chuck it in in the States and return for the chance of a crack at being PM.
What do you reckon?
David

It was idiotic to have him leader in the first place. I reckon it'll skip down a generation for the new leader. I'm not a Chuka fan, but he may gain momentum. Also, look out for Gavin Shuker coming through.
I'm not a labour voter either.

It wouldn't surprise me either to see David Milliband pop up out of the woodwork.
Ed was a poor choice of leader from the outset. Not just on his politics, but on the pure fact that his own image, looks and speaking ability would make the UK a global laughing stock if he were ever to become prime minister (god forbid).

Would you vote for a guy who lost to the current labour leader, even if it was fixed by the unions

Ed needs to go, doesn't matter whether his brother comes back to pick the pieces or not. Anyone else from their party can do better than him as their leader.
Ed doesn't fit the typical politician profile. He doesn't have a personality that make him into "Catch Me If You Can" politician psychopath. He's too bleddy obvious. He looks like a mouse-like, sensitive art teacher, and that's what he should be doing. if that doesn't work, he can always become a dinner lady.

David can't just come back that quickly can he? He is no longer an MP and so would need to be elected as one first and then could put himself forward as leader. This would take a number of years so I can't see his return this side of the next general election.
Chukka is really annoying

Lets not forget Ed was voted in by the unions - he's largely just a puppet, and the recent clashes he's had with Len McClusky have done his career no favours, even if it was the 'right' thing to do - whoever is next, it will be a close ally of the unions.

As dumb as most of the electorate are they know when they are being bribed and they also know when they are being lied to as we all know the referendum will either never happen or if it does will never be acted upon.
The UKIP are going to take enough of the Tory vote to leave Cameron in limbo.... and it is no one's fault but his!
This is before we get onto the fact that he never carries out anything he says he is going to and jumps from one bandwagon to another at the drop of a hat!
The election will be remembered for the first time when all three of the main party leaders are virtually unelectable. UKIP will be getting my vote

After he reneged on his solemn promise to allow us to have a referendum on the Lisbon Treaty which helped him to get elected, I would not trust Cameron as far as I can spit!

No-one cares about the EU. Bill Clinton's comment "It's the economy stupid" should be tatooed on every MP. Elections are won and lost on "Who will make me better off". Always have been, always will be.
