Default Frost/Nixon

Anyone watch this last night?

I thought it was terrific. I just wondered how close the film was to the "real thing". I watched the original but time has faded my memory

The guy who played Nixon was really good.

What did you think?

Yes it is an excellent film, Oscar-nominated wasn't it?

What channel was it on?

I watched it as well.

Excellent, both Frank Langella and Micheal Sheen pulled off fantastic performances. It seems by all accounts that it's pretty close to what really happened, and Frost continues to interview each new yank President to date.

BBC2 must be having a mini Frank Langella season, Good Night & Good Luck was on last week

And Michael Sheen is one of the best actors around at the moment, there aren't many who could play Kenneth Williams, David Frost, Tony Blair and Bryan Clough, and be utterly convincing as all of them

I very much enjoyed the first half. I had to abandon it then but recorded the rest of it which I will see later.
