Inventing an entity then convincing millions of others to worship it;

The followers are hardly the sharpest tools.

Got to agree with Matteeboy (shock horror ) on this, to devote so much of your time and money into something that is not even scientifically proven to exist, so is basically just hear say... is nuts.

I personally think this is true. Born in a sikh family I didn't follow the religion or beliefs. I have morals and know whats right and wrong but every religion is sort of brainwashing imo.

Agreed.
Religion is a crutch for the weak-willed.

No disrespect to any religions but I think its all *****. I think religions are for weak minded people who can't think for themselves and just need some sort of an escape route out of this world.

I wonder if there's any correlation between intelligence and people that feel the need to berate religious people...

I am 63 this year, I need to make my mind up now before it's too late.

Believe

Don't believe.

God knows it's a difficult decision.

Jeeeeesus I can't believe how indicisive I am.

I just pray that I get it right.

This is true, although I don't remember the last time I saw a thread started on the Internet with a believe having a go at non believers (on a mainstream religiously neutral forum, I'm sure if ya look on jihadist websites you'll probably find something).

You may be on to something here - I reckon Professor Hawking is a pretty intelligent chap.

(I was berated once - full on Fire and Brimstone - from a clergyman when I told him I don't believe! Irrespective of what he said, I haven't yet burned in Hell with a pitchfork up my ****)

Yawn, same old regurgitated nonsense that te rest of the kufar come out with.

Try harder (or pray to Cemos lol).

I tell you what come onto an Islamic forum called gawaher.com and lube up whilst they tear you a new hole and highlight exactly how weak willed you and your arrogant beliefs are.
