Default Magners are at smaller measures

I was given a small create of Magners today, I opened a bottle tonight and thought that looks small? I checked the mills on the bottle and its only 500ml.
Not only have they dropped the proof from 5.5% to 4.5% from launch they have also reduced the size of the bottles.

Do all these firms think people are stupid that they will not see prices rising and bottles getting smaller? I will just buy Bulmers instead

Many companies believe customers would prefer that sizes are reduced rather than price increases if they had to chose.

That wouldn't be so bad, if the prices didn't go up as well anyway.

Just thinking that when I got back from the Off-Licence on the weekend with a couple of four packs of Stella. The cans I'd bought were 500ml, the one I had left in the fridge from the Co-Op was 440ml. Why have three different can sizes (440/500/pint) as well as the various sizes of bottle? It's also got much weaker than it's original strength, I'm sure it was 5.5% once now it's 4.8% IIRC. How long before all Stella is 4% or will they make a Stella 3?

The wife's happy though as her beatings are less frequent

BTW don't normally drink the stuff, just been fancying a bit of lager during the warmer weather.

And don't get me started on breakfast cereals.. Ffs we have Special K Fruit n' Nut and often get a 370g packet now. The outer cardboard pack almost makes a good ipad sleeve!

Chocolate McVities biscuits used to be in 400g packs, now 332g. Birds Petit Pois used to be 1.2kg, now 1.07, the list goes on and on. As you say, do they think we don't notice?
