I suspect foul play here.Constricting Snakes don't kill unless they plan to eat the prey. They also bite the prey (normally the head) when they constrict. Snakes do not attack prey that is to big to consume let alone 2 at the same time.
I keep snakes and have done for many years. I used to bread snakes and sell them into the pet trade.

I agree insofar as something doesn't smell right about this case!! That's not to say there is foul play, but this would be VERY atypical behaviour of a constrictor!
To those that say WTF to owning snakes; they actually make excellent pets IF you are prepared to do your homework and tend to the animals specific environmental requirements.

What if the kids were rubbing up on a rabbit or were playing with a perfume the animal coundt resist or cold the sheer weight sloding over them kill them?.

Ah, you be surprised mate. Most pythons available as pets are gentle (to humans) and inquisitive creatures! It's a privilege being in the presence of one of natures great predators and they're actually very pleasant to handle

I agree, plus you cant beat a good old corn snake as a pet. There quite comfortable with kids handling them, easy to look after and a fun creature to study. Downside is they are master escape artists
