Just wait.............
He'll be suing the Prison / Government for compensation for his injuries, and because they failed to protect him. No doubt "Human Rights" will be mentioned.
Given Britains history in the Courts, he'll win too.

Pointless. Yes, the guy is scum, and deserves the longest sentence possible (at our expense, sigh) but getting attacked in prison......what good does that do?

Typical Britain, a scum back who has been locked up for this awful crime has been restrained following the correct guidelines by prison staff, he's had some teeth knocked out so they've all been suspended!!!!
I wish this country would get a fecking grip, I don't see how someone locked up for violent disgusting crime is entitled to any human rights what so ever, no doubt he'll get compo aswell.
The people who decided what to air on telly really know how to wind me up lol, all the program's following police, catching people for all sorts then nowt happens to them.
That landlord program the other night, home owners paying mortgages only for scum bags to trash their house and pay no rent but nothing can be done because of their rights.
Also seen a thing on the news the other night where an armed police officer had shot an armed robber in their getaway car, they had 3 guns in the car but the officer is facing charges as the judge said there was no way the armed robber could have been reaching for a gun, IMO he was just out of jail, was fleeing from a robbery, had firearms in the car so.......he'd made his bed and he's going to have to lie in it for quite a while.

Read a little more about the last case you mentioned. The armed police officer is being prosecuted for shooting someone without reason. That could have been you and dont say that they dont ever get the wrong car: tell that to Stephen Waldorf.

That also annoys me, they keep saying he is accused of the crime, why can't they just say "he did it"......
With regards to my last point about the police officer shooting the fella, were they not armed robbers? Were there not 3 guns in the car the police stopped as was reported in the news I seen?
If the answer to both of those points turns out to be yes (I genuinely do not know as I've not followed any of it, it just stuck in my mind) then IMO it shouldn't even need looking into, would the officer have been better to wait until he was shot first??

As much as I sympathise with your viewpoint it is important to note that he hasn't yet been to trial and hence is technically on remand and not guilty of anythng in the eyes of the law! The question we should be asking is with so much evidence against him why is this going to take months and months to come to trial? Other than to once again line the pockets of the legal profession of course!
And I take your point about the legal profession having a nice little earner, but I think that it is more to do with the government wanting as much time as possible to elapse before a trial to promote calm across the UK.

Apology
A spokesman for the 5 prison officers involved has issued a profound apology for the incident in which two teeth had been lost by the prisoner.
It read - "We are so sorry about this as we had intended to knock all his teeth out".
