Default Side Swiped... Any solicitors here??

Not in my scooby thankfully.

In lane one with a long slip road to my left....

I indicated, checked mirror, all clear, I pulled all the way out... 5 secs later SLAM !!!

So douch has side swiped my left side... He was going so fast he obviously couldn't stop. Tried to undertake me, the slip road is wide, but not wide enough to cope with both of us...

I think he too pulled into the slip road but 75 yards behind me, but was speeding... 50 mph carriageway FYI... he flew past me!

He throws his card at me, he manages a claims management firm.....

Ideas, hint, tips appreciated.....

I do not think i'm to blame.... his speed caused this.

Very little damage to his vehicle, 10% damage to my door and wing...

Police were informed but did not attend.

If he has hit you on the inside then he is clearly in the wrong, undertaking or pulling out you had right of way - let your insurance deal with it

Go straight to a claims management firm and let them deal with it, I have been told Winns solicitors are good so I hope he doesn't work for them

You were leaving a motorway/dual track and pulled onto a slip road to get off?

I was in a similar situation a few months ago, completely the other drivers fault as he came into my lane without checking his mirrors... my useless insurance company settled for a 50/50 claim

I'd recommend you get yourself a witness or two

I asked because that exact thing happened to a friend of mine.

The bloke in the other car claimed that my mate pulled onto the slip road at the last minute without any indication.

There were no witnesses and he was advised by a solicitor to accept the 50/50 offer.

He was not impressed but he had no choice. I reckon that's what the other bloke in your incident will say happened.

Good luck with it.

This. With no witnesses, there's no way either side can produce a story which has to be true - both will be equally plausible to someone who wasn't there. So it will go 50:50.
