Those bloody things just won't come off and I hate the way the washers just seem to smear them evenly over the windscreen so that it looks like I've got cateracts...

Does anybody know of something you can add to the screenwash to disolve them with out harming anything else??

Seen some "bug-shifter" additive in Homebase/Halfords type places. Don't know if it works or not ?

Bug shifter stuff works really well although I've not tried the additive one. We use the bug shifter spray on foam stuff and remove it with kitchen roll Put some Rainex on your screen too and the damn things won't stick so well next time.

If you leave bug shifter on for too long it taints the paint.
